She is the co-host of the leading TV show Real Gaboza on SABC 1 as well as on South Africa’s leading music show Live Amp; yet apart from being a natural TV host, she is just as well known for her acting career, and has just been nominated for a 2013 SAFTA (South African Film and Television Awards). At just 25 Pearl is a veteran of television and film, dominating South African Prime Time Television.
As a former Miss KZN, and First Runner-up in Miss SA Teen in 2003, she has had a successful modelling career, appearing in adverts for Vodacom, Edgars, Jet, Altech Netstar, DSTV, Khomanani, SANBS, Toyota, Kellogg’s Special K, Danone and KFC to name but a few. Most recently Pearl was selected to be a campaign ambassador for Castle Lite’s Feel the Beat of Sub Zero Experience featuring Kanye West, and was the MC on the evening.
Passionate about the entertainment business, Pearl is determined to make her mark on the industry that she loves. She knows what it takes to do so, having completed a Start-up Venture Course at WITS Business School, whilst currently completing a BA Communications Science through UNISA.
